Hajjar: Lebanese Americans repudiate Hezbollah stooge, Michel Aoun

Washington DC, Cedars News, June 12th, 2011

In a statement responding to General Michel Aoun's attack against the United States, the US director of the World Council for the Cedars Revolution (WCCR) said "General Michel Aoun declared during a visit yesterday to his allies-the Terrorists of Hezbollah in south Lebanon-that he will twist the arm of US intelligence in Lebanon”. We, Lebanese Americans supporters of the Cedars Revolution, repudiate this politician turned Terrorist-ally and call on the Lebanese-American community of two million citizens to condemn this stooge of the Iranian regime. Michel Aoun is an ally of an organization which has killed Americans, Lebanese-Americans and Lebanese from all communities. He bears moral and political responsibility for cooperation with terror.

We call on the members of the US Congress, particularly the Committees on the Middle East, to list Aoun's organization on the list of terrorist organizations and bar its members in the United States from fundraising for their political activities in Lebanon and also call on our lawmakers to reject any donation coming from Aoun's supporters to any electoral campaign at legislative or Presidential levels."
