Wednesday January 26, 2011 - Washington D.C. – Press Release

Non-Representative Government Best Option for Lebanon

March 14 must represent the will of those that voted in 2009 and not the imposers.

The March 14 movement was defeated this week by more acts of terror from Hezbollah's long list of moves against it, culminating these weeks into another round of using intimidation, threatening violence and using pressure to gain control of the Premiership.

The Cedars Revolution representing the hopes and desires of millions of Lebanese in Lebanon and the Diaspora urges the March 14 Political Party to take a tough Stand

Non-Representative Government Best Option Forward for Lebanon

----- You Must Stand Against Joining this Imposed Government -----

We must uphold what our forefathers instilled into the Lebanese composition – truth, honor, dignity, and courage.

Representing the Majority Will that clearly, with numerous free demonstrations by millions of Lebanese spelled out its desires to know the Truth behind all the Assassinations, for Freedom, Sovereignty and Independence of the homeland, they shall not sell out the hopes, desires, and blood of Millions of Lebanese in Lebanon today, to those whom perished in this fight, and the Diaspora.

Lebanon, the Majority March 14 Party, and the International Community Must:

1. We Call on the International Community Not to Recognize Miqati’s Overrun of a Democratically Elected Premier (PM Saad Hariri) by Threats of Violence and Intimidations

2. We call on March 14 to declare that this Government Does not Represent the Democratic Process in Lebanon, was imposed through threats and intimidation and is therefore declared a Non Representative Government that the March 14 Decides not to Uphold, Legitimize nor Cooperate With.

3. Uphold the Special Tribunal for Lebanon – Assassinations with Impunity must End.

4. Intimidations and Threats to Achieve a Political End is Unacceptable

5. Implement all UN Resolutions – Including 1559 which demands the disarming of all arms outside those of the LAF, and 1701 including its point to Seal Lebanon’s Borders.

6. Insure Security of the Civil Society so they can pursue their hopes & opportunities without fear

7. Represent the Majority Will of the Lebanese – built upon the Truth, Freedom, Sovereignty, and Independence of the State.

8. The Majority that won the votes of the People Freely Names the Prime Minister

9. Lebanon should not and cannot exist as a Hostage to Iran, nor take any orders from any nation.

10. We must not and Will Not Ever Accept that our Martyrs Deaths - for Freedom, Sovereignty and Independence - was in Vein.

The Millions of Lebanese In Lebanon and Worldwide Stand By The Democratically Elected Government of PM Saad Hariri, The Democratic Institutions of Lebanon, A Single Government with a Single Armed Forces that upholds all International Commitments, and United Nations Resolutions.

We, the Majority in Lebanon and the Diaspora leave Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the March 14 Political Movement with this last quote from Winston Churchill as he faced the German Terror in WWII.

“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense”
