March 14 General Secretariat Coordinator Fares Soaid said the difference between Syria and Iran is that "Syria has its own men in Lebanon, while Iran has an entire sect."

In an interview with MTV late Tuesday, Soaid pointed that the period of political assassinations in Lebanon was "not yet over."

He warned that the region will "enter into the unknown months after temporary stability."

Soaid said Premier Saad Hariri was visiting Syria in his capacity as prime minister and not as son of ex-PM Rafik Hariri.
