In an interview via Radio Cedars Revolution from Washington DC, Professor Walid Phares discusses the next possilbe moves of the March 14 movement in Lebanon
CRN Radio from Washington D.C. (July 10, 2009): In an interview via Radio Cedars Revolution from Washington DC, Professor Walid Phares warned the March 14 movement in Lebanon from including Terror group Hezbollah in the forthcoming Government. "The militias that oppose UNSCR 1559 and the goals of the Cedars Revolution, and who have lost Lebanon's legislative elections should not be inserted in the Lebanese cabinet ," said Phares. "The voters in Lebanon have granted the March 14 politicians a trust based on a platform to implement: That is to disarm all militias, particularly the Terror forces who have attacked legislators, journalists, intellectuals, officers and ordinary citizens. Politicians who are negotiating the formation of the new Government must understand that the friends of Lebanon worldwide who have initiated efforts to produce UNSCR 1559 will not accept a fait accompli of a Hezbollah controlled Government in Lebanon."
