Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun on Wednesday expressed concern over possible "assassinations and bomb attacks" just before the forthcoming elections.

"Lebanon is open to foreign intelligence agencies and such incidents could happen," Aoun said in a television interview.

Aoun also said "there is nothing such as intra-Christian reconciliation. Political differences reflect viewpoints and political options."

"What is important, however, is not to have clashes," Aoun added.
