DAMASCUS, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Minister of Interior Zeyad Baroud said Monday he asked Syria for all information about confessions of elements of so-called Fatah Al-Islam organization over an explosion in Damascus that took place on September 27 this year.

Syrian TV showed footages of the Fatah Al-Islam elements confessing they received backing from a Lebanese party, and Baroud, speaking at a news conference after a meeting with Syrian interior minister Bassam Abdulmajid, said this issue was in the hands of the judiciary.

Abdulmajid said they have agreed to reactivate security committees with Lebanon.

Both sides agreed to form a committee to strengthen anti-terrorism cooperation. (pickup previous) tk.bs KUNA 110028 Nov 08NNNN
