Dr. Toufic Hindi
An interview conducted by Dorothy Logan for “Family Security Matter” (FMS) with a Lebanese politician has shattered the attacks waged by Muslim Brotherhood linked group CAIR and the smear pieces published in Iran regime backing publication “Mother Jones.” Back in 2011 the President of CAIR sent a letter to the Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee in Congress asking him to drop Dr Walid Phares from a hearing on Jihadist radicalization. Congressman Pete King rejected CAIR’s letter. Nihad Awad sent the same letter to Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to drop Phares from his advisory board still without success. The Muslim Brotherhood slandered Phares as “having had ties in the 1980s with a militia known as the Lebanese Forces.” CAIR didn’t bring any evidence nor quoted any official report. Its request was also dismissed by Romney in 2011. That same month, the pro Iran regime magazine Mother Jones published an article attacking Phares as “an advisor to warlord Samir Geagea.” The hack job written by Adam Serwer cited two sources in Lebanon: NGO activist Toni Nissi and former Lebanese Forces member Regina Sneifer. The article was re-posted and cited by many far left and Islamist sites.
