Mission Statement In support of the One and Half Million Lebanese Who Descended onto Liberty Square in Beirut on the 14th of March 2005 and in Memory of All the Martyrs Who Sacrificed their Lives in the Struggle for the Undeniable Right to Sovereignty, Independence and Democratic Freedoms,
The World Council of the Cedars Revolution, architect and great contributor to the formation of UNSCR 1559 and 1701, and the driving force for full implementation of both resolutions, is proud to be dedicated and committed to the Preservation and Protection of Lebanon as a Sovereign Nation, Independent by its own Constitution, democratic and free by the irrevocable choice of its people.
• A Lebanon that is Flexible, Tolerant and Patient with dignity and Strength and serving as a Shining Light for Humanity.
• A Lebanon that is, and shall always remain, a Final Homeland for all its Citizens and their Descendants throughout the World.
• A Lebanon that is proud to be a Founding Member of the United Nations and a Dedicated Advocate for and Signatory to the Geneva Convention and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A Lebanon that enjoys its legitimacy by its subscription to the Rule of Law.
• A Lebanon Determined to Overcome All Obstacles and that shall always strive for Excellence in the Development of its Rich Tapestry as a Multicultural Society in every Facet of its Existence
TO THIS CAUSE WE PROUDLY DEDICATE OURSELVES - The Founding Members - The World Council for the Cedars Revolution
“None of us should try to have a foreign ‘outlet’ of cast a look across the borders, for this would cast doubts on his national loyalty and allegiance to Lebanon...”. Bachir Gemayel
